Gates: 3 Ordering, 50 Values, 61 Mystery, 62 Detail. Gate numbers: 61.4/50.1, 62.4/3.1.

Gate 61 gives us the model for Rodin's Thinker — a statue I've always thought would suit a bathroom better, since most people do their deepest thinking there, which would honestly make it more fitting. Either way, this is the Cross of Contemplation, and that's exactly what these people do. If someone with this Cross spends a long time in the bathroom, you already know what's happening — they're thinking. At the level of design, there's a real shift here in 32/42. Recall that Gate 32 brings a certain atmosphere into any Cross it touches — the deep, heavy theme of failure — and once it steps aside, we're left with the two gates of the Cross of Law, 50 and 3.

People with the Cross of Contemplation are the ones who actually move knowledge forward through their own understanding of it — that potential lives here. It starts with the unconscious Sun in 50.1, the Immigrant, tied to judgment and law, and the recognition that people need to keep moving forward — that as we grow, our laws need to grow with us. One driving force in this Cross is not chasing the unknowable, but taking what already exists and pushing it toward a personal breakthrough — understanding something more deeply than anyone has before. This is exactly the kind of situation where someone holds a logical assumption, but through the individual, mutative mind, discovers something about it that no one else had ever seen. That's what this Juxtaposition Cross brings.
