As the geometry shifts, so does how a person born into this cross deals with others. Someone born into a right-angle cross stays absorbed in their own process, unable to find clarity through anyone but themselves. Someone born into a left-angle cross has to naturally adjust to another person — this isn't self-centered sexuality, not 'I need to do this in a canoe,' but 'let's,' or 'could we,' or 'shall we do this in a canoe' — transpersonal, made possible only through union with someone else.

The Plane carries an understanding that a balance has to be found between two forces governing these people's lives — gates 10 and 15, which need to survive within the collective flow, and, at the same time, a deep animal sexual need for genuinely exciting experience. Out of this comes the attempt to convince ourselves that the excitement of simply meeting someone is enough — the formula of 36/6 insists you can't make love with someone who doesn't genuinely excite you. People living on the Plane need to balance right behavior with the ability to satisfy their sexuality, which isn't easy, especially at the sixth line and the very end of the left-angle process, in Profile 6/3: their process is to go all-in one direction, burn out completely there, then throw themselves the other way until that collapses too — a constant scramble trying to grab both aspects and bring them together.

The secret here is that the Plane requires real intimacy, since it's transpersonal — the only thing that can bring these two forces together is entering the right relationship, which alone lets a person reach balance and integrate both sides of their life. Only then will they find the right partner, whose behavior helps them fit into the flow without triggering crisis whenever their need for closeness and desire needs meeting.

Everything we see in the Plane traces back to the right angle's beginning in Eden — first you're cast out, then you enter sexuality. After the fixed crisis, you try, through other people, to find a way to balance it all.
