Gate 44, Line 4 — Honesty

Full breakdown

It's hard for you to close your eyes to what's actually happening. When you see something distorted — in a relationship, in a deal, in someone's intentions — it matters to you to name it directly rather than go along with a more convenient version of events.

That honesty makes you a reliable presence in situations that call for clarity. People can trust your read on things because they know you won't dress it up, or stay quiet for your own comfort — a rare and valuable quality.

Still, it's worth remembering form. Even a truthful observation can wound if it's said without any regard for the moment or the person on the other side. Honesty works best paired with real care for how it's going to land.
