View is a PHS variable calculated from the Personality Nodes — from the conscious part of the chart. It doesn't describe a physical place, but an inner lens of perception: exactly what a person reads first in what's happening around them, before drawing a conclusion or making a decision. In essence, View is the mirror image of Environment: the same nodal axis, but at the level of conscious perception rather than the body.

The six colors of this variable — Priorities, Possibilities, Problems, People, Probabilities, and Potential — each represent a separate focus of attention: safety and what needs to be done first, chances not yet made visible, the balance of strengths and weaknesses, who wants what and who can offer what, the likelihood that something will work, and the maximum possible outcome. The Left/Right arrow inside a color usually distinguishes a strategic, calculated version of that view from a more intuitive, instant one.

Knowing your view helps explain why one person notices risks first, another notices missed opportunities, and a third notices who owes what to whom: this isn't a character trait, it's a built-in perceptual filter that all incoming information passes through.
