Gate 26 is sometimes called the gate of the Trickster. Be careful around the Cross of the Trickster, because you can be played easily here. Gates 37 and 22 drop out, replaced by 6 and 36 — meaning a person with this Cross may take advantage of you, and you might come away with nothing. They're genuinely good at it — because there's always someone who wants, who needs, and who, in a sense, is incarnated specifically to be fooled. That's exactly why it works.

There's always a flip side — the other gates on the opposite arm of the Cross. Some people are born to be fooled, again and again, and some are born to be the ones doing the fooling.
