Out of their mouths comes pure individualist talk: 'I don't want to be influenced. Leave me alone. I'm busy — why on earth would I go to this party tonight?' Then they get dragged along, the 34/20 channel lights up, everything connects, and the 40/37 channel gets to do exactly what it's built for — hugging everyone and having a great time. The moment they leave, back behind their own wall, the individualist voice resumes: 'I like being alone. I hate parties.' But they had a wonderful time — look at the photos, anyone can tell.
Someone brings up the party and they answer instantly, 'I can't stand parties, don't remind me.' That contradiction lives quietly inside these people.
