In the first variation, the Sun in 51 made Clarion shock-driven. Here, with the Sun in 57, everything works differently. These people act purely out of intuition — they may tell you something, but usually only if you press them; unlike gate 51, which will burn a hole in you unasked, just to get it off its chest: 'you asked for it, here it is.' 57 is different, because it always fears the consequences of speaking, carrying with it a fear of tomorrow.

57.5 draws the projection that this person can be a clarion, bringing news and practical solutions — but they won't necessarily shock you the moment the invitation to speak arrives. They simply let their intuition out; they don't wait fifty years to tell you something — you get it on the spot.

57.6 will only tell you between the ages of thirty and fifty, sitting on the roof as the fool on the hill, holding an objectivity that gives others a sense of reliability, so people come and ask the sixth line what it has observed. Only in the window between the Saturn Return and the Chiron Return does this person become accessible — only then can others actually reach their intuition.

Clarions are sought out whether they like it or not; they have no choice, because other people expect a clarion to carry news worth hearing. When the sixth-line Clarion comes down off the roof, they don't announce anything — they simply live by intuition, leading purely by example, the way every sixth line eventually must: not by telling people to look at them, but by being themselves and letting people see.
