This articulation reaches full expression in Education. The movement begins in the right angle: 'fine, we can't stay innocent, we have to explore the world, and in exploring it, learn its shape.' But governance itself has to pass through a phase where it finally begins to educate — and this is exactly that point. Education through gate 12 means giving a lecture, which is very different from being a teacher through gate 11 — left-angle crosses always come in two variations, and when we reach the second, with the Sun in 11, this teaching looks quite different.

As a teacher through gate 12, this person speaks to you but doesn't share with you — they lecture, sing a song, whatever they do, but you don't participate in the process. That means you need to be exactly what gate 12 is looking for: a grateful listener, gate 22, absorbing everything, open to the potential for mutation. 'Let's enlighten the broader population.'

He's right, in a sense: without the ability to gather the resources we need and convert them into education, opportunity would be extremely limited — the more intensive the education, the more opportunity opens up. That's exactly what Education is responsible for: with education, your chances of participating in a society's growth rise sharply, along with your confidence and your reward for it.
