In the second variation of the Vessel of Love, the Sun moves to gate 15, the spout of the vessel — the part whose entire job is to let the contents out into the world. Extremes and Rhythms is a gate of tolerance for every kind of person, and here it becomes the actual exit point of that universal love, the place where it finally reaches someone. Without a spout, a vessel is just a sealed container; nothing gets shared. This is the person through whom love becomes usable, appliable, delivered rather than merely felt.

But a spout has no say in what's being poured through it, and no memory of what came before. It just keeps letting things flow. That is also this cross's difficulty — being defined by the act of pouring out, rather than by anything it keeps for itself.
