Being a recluse isn't rejecting the world. It's a conscious choice of quality over quantity. You choose who to be close to and when, and that makes your contact with people deeper and more genuine.
The trap is when solitude turns into isolation out of fear. When you're hiding rather than resting. A true recluse always comes back — renewed, with new understanding. If you don't want to come back at all, that's a sign something important needs attention.
