This ability makes you persuasive. When you talk about what happened, people listen. You know how to frame context so it supports the conclusion that's needed.
At the same time, it's worth remembering: the same events can be interpreted in different ways. When you use history honestly, that's wisdom. When you use it selectively, that's manipulation. The difference is in the intent, and you already know which side of that line you're standing on.
