This coolheadedness in the face of doubt is a valuable skill. While doubt can throw others off balance, you're able to hold onto enough calm to work out whether it's actually justified, before reacting impulsively to every worrying thought.
Sometimes doubt turns out stronger than you're able to fully control, and that's normal. You can't always maintain perfect self-control — it's important to allow yourself moments of confusion, without demanding constant coolheadedness from yourself.
